Phoenician Alphabet is most commonly used alphabet before Common Era around Mediterranean and surrounding vast region.
Texts and inscriptions in Phoenician alphabets appears to be almost completely destroyed during Rome by Rome and natural conditions. Evidence indicates strict ban of this alphabet during Rome rule. There are almost no surviving pieces of Torah even though it is the original alphabet of Torah. There are pieces in Dead Sea Scrolls. Probably because square script banned later, Dead sea scrolls are mostly in square script. But it is clear that original alphabet was Paleo-Hebrew/Phonecian. For instance in some instances they kept Paleo alphabet for writing YHWH and they even did leave blank space instead of writing it with new alphabet. Because it is considered to be sacred special name. This is not matter of debate as there are is almost no Hebrew text dates anywhere near Dead Sea Scrolls. And Dead Sea Scrolls are exceptional because it consists of collection of manuscripts found in jars which intentionally put into caves to hide and found accidentally in recent history. There is further explanation at the end.
Other than Dead Sea Scrolls which contains only Hebrew religious texts there are many ancient inscriptions disovered in remote areas or almost exclusively found during excavations. Relatively in recent history there seems to be many discoveries. Classification among Canaanite alphabets may not be very accurate. Therefore in follewing list there may be some artifacts that are not classified as Phoenician but majority is classified as Phoenician.
Tanit symbol and surronding symbols clearly common with symbols used by Turk Shahis. There are actually three distinct common symbol and there isn't even a wiki page where most of those image can be found. (The ones with phonecian scripts. Normally there would be distinct wiki page for such antiques.) There isn't even need to say this is suspicious. This is obviously intentional. But undirected result of inclusive campaign. Compare coins especially with this image.
The one that resides in British Museum is pretty interesting. For some reason the ones with the Tanit symbol are not easy to come across on the web.
There is a website belongs to Israeli gov. for Dead Sea Scrolls. From this page you can see list of available Paleo-Hebrew manuscripts. There aren't many pieces and some non-Paleo text seems to also appear. Seems like there is a problem with filtering at the time of writing this.
Mainstream use of Phonecian alphabet appears to be disappearing around Common Era. However Jews don't totall stop using it especially like words YHWH. For some reason Jews meant their own coin when they rebel against Roman Empire. And they use Paleo alphabet. This further prove importance of this alphabet because they insist using it despite the time interval. At this point in the history probably only Jews uses Phoenician alphabet. Dead Sea Scrolls guessed to be put into cave around the time 40-70.
Samaritan Jews continues to use very similar alphabet further through 300-600 according to literature. Haven't checked.
