It is easy to overdose and side effects are serious. It is not just about how much seeds you use. Brewing time and acidity of brewing medium (water) can affect the dosage and cause serious intoxications. (For instance lets say you boil 5 gram seeds for 10 minutes and it feels like it has no effect and next time you increase dosage to 10 gram and boil it for 30 minutes. This can cause 3-5x time increase in dosage and serious poisoning.)
Try to stick same amount of water and vinegar or lemon for acidity. And keep the boiling time the same.
Don't increase dosage too much at a time. If it feels like previous dosage was low. Because of its analgesic and stimulant effects you may neglect the stress it causes. Especially at the beginning, it is best not to use every day
Boiling 5 grams of seeds is probably already too much for most people. Maybe you can first try 2-3grams. 5 gram may be already too much. And may cause bad side effects. Although it depends on the body.
